Carl D. White is a Tony Award-winning entertainment producer and general manager, who began his career at the age of eighteen, when he founded the acclaimed Golden Theatre in Los Angeles in 1987. Following his tenure at The Golden, Carl relocated to New York to work for MCA/Universal Pictures and legendary producer/agent Stevie Phillips. He quickly followed that position with an Associate Company Manager position on the pre-Broadway tour of the musical BUSKER ALLEY by the Sherman Brothers (celebrated composers of many Disney musicals, including MARY POPPINS), which was produced by the prodigious producing team, Barry and Fran Weissler (CHICAGO, PIPPIN). Following BUSKER, Carl then became the Producing Associate and Office Manager for producers David Stone and Amy Nederlander on their highly acclaimed productions of FULL GALLOP; THE SANTALAND DIARIES and THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK starring Natalie Portman.

Carl founded Martian Entertainment LLC in 1997, and has gone on to general manage and produce many acclaimed projects, including: THE COTTAGE, THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL; THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG; THE NORMAL HEART (2011 Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics’ Circle Award, Drama League Award); HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH (2014 Tony Award); A TIME TO KILL; ON A CLEAR DAY… Starring Harry Connick, Jr.; THE BEST MAN (2012 Tony Nom.) starring James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, John Larroquette, Candice Bergen, and Eric McCormack; PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT; THE TEMPERAMENTALS; BASH’D!; and the second longest-running off-Broadway musical in history NAKED BOYS SINGING!; THE LAST SESSION, BARE, and many others. Outside of traditional Broadway, Carl has also managed other first class entertainments such as ILUMINATE (Las Vegas), Michael Mao’s stunning ballet FIRECRACKER (China), CRISS ANGEL MINDFREAK, CRISS ANGEL SUBMERGED. Along with his business partner and Martian co-owner Gregory Rae, Carl is currently working on several new theatrical projects.

Gregory Rae is a Tony Award-winning producer based in New York. His theatrical credits include THE COTTAGE, THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, ALLEGIANCE, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH (2014 Tony Award), A TIME TO KILL, KINKY BOOTS (2013 Tony Award, 2016 Olivier Award), CLYBOURNE PARK (2012 Tony Award), BARE (off-Broadway), and THE NORMAL HEART (2011 Tony Award). He is an executive producer of the films VIRGIN TERRITORY, HELLO AGAIN, THE GOLDFISH, CLUTTER, THE MUSLIMS ARE COMING, and co-executive producer of THE GREEN. Upcoming projects include THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF LOUIS ARMSTRONG, RUN BABY RUN, JUDGMENT DAY starring Jason Alexander, and LOCH NESS. He joined Carl White as a partner in Martian Entertainment LLC in 2013.

Gregory graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2000 with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters fromManhattanville College in 2014. He worked at Google as a software engineer in charge of log analysis until 2006. After leaving Google, he got involved in politics as one of the national leaders of Living Liberally, and has advised several campaigns for marriage equality around the country. In 2008, he was the technical lead for the No On Proposition 8 campaign in California, and in 2010 he served as treasurer of Fight Back New York, a political action committee that successfully targeted three New York state senators who had voted against marriage equality. Rae is a governor and past president of the Harvey Mudd College Alumni Association, and a board member of Harvey Mudd College and the Broad Stage. He is an emeritus board member of The Tank, and previously served on the board of The Production Farm. He is a full member of The Broadway League.

Company Manager

Jolie Gabler eats, lives, and sleeps theatre. She is thrilled to have joined Martian Entertainment in November 2022 as the Company Manager of The Play That Goes Wrong at New World Stages. She has been a Company Manager in Theatrical Management for over 25 years, and has worked on 18 projects including Chicago, Magic of David Copperfield (covering 6 continents), 700 Sundays, and Million Dollar Quartet.

Jolie is proud to be a Co-Founder of The Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund which enables disadvantaged children to attend not for profit sleep away camps. Additionally, FGHHCF provides financial support to established organizations with year round mentoring which empowers children and results in increased self-esteem, thus enhancing their ability to make appropriate life choices. Through Jolie’s efforts, this important charity is a participant in Cantor Fitzgerald’s Charity Day.

Jolie is a graduate from Duke University with a degree in Psychology, which cultivated her love of theatre, and began her journey into Theatrical Management.

Jim Brady joined Martian Entertainment in 2019. Current projects include A Wonderful World, The Play That Goes Wrong (Tour & Off Broadway). With an impressive career spanning 25 years in theatrical production and management, Jim has been lucky enough to have worked on over 20 Broadway and Touring productions. Jim is also the co- founder of 4th Wall Productions, a theatre production company serving the Hudson Valley since 2001. Jim holds a degree in Performing Arts from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Michael Guariglia

Assistant General Manager

Michael Guariglia is the Assistant General Manager at Martian Entertainment. He joined the company in 2019 as the Company Manager for the hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong, and quickly rose to his current position. He now oversees all aspects of Martian’s productions, from contracts to sales analysis. His background in the performing arts began in 2017, working in the finance department at The Metropolitan Opera. He has been passionate about live entertainment since childhood and hopes to continue to bring quality productions to audiences of all ages for years to come.

Hailing from St. Louis, MO and also known as Kaylin AK, is an NYC-based multi-hyphenate specializing in producing, theater management, social media marketing and fashion. Her recent credits include War Words (Off-Broadway), The Cottage (Broadway), Golden (Worksession), ROOM (Broadway), Harry Potter and The Cursed Child (Broadway) as General/ Company Management. Hamlet (Columbia School of the Arts-Master’s Program Showcase) as Line Producer, Embrace the Season Gala (Drama League) as Producer’s Assistant. She is also a co-founding member of BlackLight Community, a non-profit helping POC in the arts. Kaylin is excited to be a part of the spirited team at Martian Entertainment. Sending joy.
