She was Rock & Roll's first female superstar, and one of the most enduring icons of an era. Her signature style and throaty, gravelly voice inspired a generation. Love, Janis features the songs, the letters, and the soul of Janis Joplin. This new musical play is conceived, adapted, and directed by Randal Myler, inspired by the book by Joplin's sister Laura. Nineteen of the legendary singer/songwriter's best known hits are featured including "Piece of My Heart," "Get It While You Can," "Me and Bobby McGee," and "Ball and Chain."
