Circle in the Square, New York
GLORY DAYS is the story of four best friends who reunite a year after graduating high school on their old school's football field, only to find how much they have grown apart. It's a story of the depth of love that exists between teenagers, the pain of change, and the discovery that we all grow up before we're ready. Set to an explosive score and book by 23 year old newcomers Nick Blaemire and James Gardiner (the youngest writing team ever on a Broadway stage), this "fresh...real and surprisingly moving" (Washington Post) new musical moves to Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre this May, with the cast and team that created the critically lauded production at Washington DC's Signature Theatre earlier this year. Their story is an honest, authentic, and unflinching look at what its like to be a young person in this generation, and how alike we all are, no matter how much we cringe to admit it. In a generation where new original Broadway musicals are in short supply, there's never been a better time for GLORY DAYS.

After a sold-out, critically lauded run at the Signature Theatre in Virginia, director Eric Schaeffer (PUTTING IT TOGETHER) brings this "fresh...real and surprisingly moving" (The Washington Post) new musical to Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre this May, with a cast of newcomers on the verge of discovery. Set to an explosive score by 23 year old composer Nick Blaemire (also a performer in Broadway's CRY-BABY) and a ferocious, hilarious book by real life best friend and fellow 23 year old James Gardiner, GLORY DAYS will have the youngest writing team to ever see their show on a Broadway stage. Their story is an honest, original, and unflinching look at how hard it is to grow up, no matter what generation you're a part of - and in an age where new Broadway musicals are a rare breed, there's never been a better time for GLORY DAYS.
